Internet Marketing Agency eBridge to Hand Deliver Care Packages to Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside with Fellow EO Members
Vancouver, British Columbia (PRWEB) November 29, 2012 — eBridge Marketing Solutions, a Vancouver based internet marketing agency specializing in online promotion for B2B technology businesses, will join members of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization Vancouver chapter in its “Giving Back” event. The annual charitable drive run by EO involves the organization and delivery of care packages for the local homeless population in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. The eBridge team will join EO members, their staff and their families on December 5th, 2012 and participate in distributing the much needed care packages to individuals that live in one of the country’s most marginalized neighbourhoods.
“Making a positive impact in our community by offering assistance to those less fortunate is what our annual ‘Giving Back’ event is all about,” shares EO Vancouver Chapter President Jeff Duncan. “The holiday season can be a particularly challenging time for many and thanks to our membership base volunteering their time and making donations, we are able to do something concrete to help those that need it most.”
The care packages carefully prepared by volunteers include necessities such as warm clothing and accessories like toques, gloves and socks, as well as other items such as tooth brushes, snacks and holiday treats. Each year around 1,500 packages are distributed on the streets of the Downtown Eastside by EO Vancouver. This is the second year that the eBridge team has participated, bringing its internet marketing staff together to spread some cheer for fellow Vancouverites in marginalized positions.
“It’s a heart warming and humbling experience to meet the individuals receiving the care packages face to face,” says eBridge CEO Hartland Ross. “There’s nothing quite like hearing the sincere thanks and appreciation for goods that most of us take for granted in our day to day lives, like having a warm hat when it’s cold out.
